Find the RTSP switch
Open the camera in the Eufy Security app, go to its settings and look for RTSP or NAS (RTSP), usually under Storage. Menu names vary between models and app versions. Switch it on, choose a username and password for the stream, and save. The app then shows the stream address.
If there is no RTSP or NAS option anywhere in the camera's settings, that model, on its current firmware, does not offer a stream. No firmware download adds one; Eufy enables RTSP per model.

Use exactly the address the Eufy app shows. Reserve the camera's IP address in your router so it stays the same.
Which Eufy cameras offer RTSP
RTSP is most common on Eufy's plug-in indoor cameras and on some mains-powered outdoor and floodlight models, and it has also appeared on some HomeBase-connected cameras. Eufy adds and removes it model by model with firmware updates, so the settings menu of your camera is the only reliable answer. Eufy's support pages list the models it currently supports.
On battery cameras, an RTSP stream keeps the camera awake, which drains the battery far faster than normal use. Eufy limits or warns about this on battery models; if you want to watch around the clock, use a camera on mains power.
Add it in IP Camera Viewer
Because Eufy cameras do not support ONVIF, they never appear in a scan; add the camera manually. Paste the address from the Eufy app, or type rtsp://camera-ip/live0, and put the RTSP username and password in the login fields. The camera then plays like any RTSP camera, with snapshots, clips and audio where the camera sends it.
Troubleshooting
- Camera Unreachable after an update: check that RTSP is still switched on; updates and resets can turn it off.
- Authentication Failed: use the RTSP login set in the RTSP settings, not your Eufy account email.
- Stream stops after a while on a battery camera: the camera went to sleep or Eufy limited streaming to save power.
