IP Camera Viewer & Monitor — Privacy Policy

IP Camera Viewer & Monitor ("the App") is developed by Mobile Card Games & Travel Apps LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and how your privacy is protected.

1. Data We Collect

IP Camera Viewer & Monitor is built around a local-only architecture: your cameras, your network, no cloud. The App connects directly from your device to your own IP cameras and NVRs over your local network using RTSP and ONVIF. We do not operate any server that receives your video, your snapshots, or your camera details.

• Camera configurations: The names, IP addresses, and settings of the cameras you add. These are stored only on your device.
• Camera usernames and passwords: If your camera requires a login, the credentials you enter are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device with this-device-only protection, meaning they are never included in backups that move to other devices and never leave your device through any part of the App.
• Snapshots: Still images you choose to capture from a stream are saved locally on your device, and to your Photo Library only if you save them there.
• Purchase information: Subscription transactions are processed by Apple; the App never sees your payment card details.

The App does not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, or advertising identifiers, and it contains no analytics and no ads.

2. How We Use Your Data

Everything the App does with your data happens on your device and your local network:

• Camera credentials are used solely to authenticate directly with your own cameras.
• Video and audio streams travel directly between your device and your camera over your local network. They are never routed through, or recorded on, any server we operate.
• Two-way audio (for cameras that support it) uses your microphone only while you hold the talk button, and the audio goes directly to your camera.
• The camera permission is used to scan QR codes containing camera addresses (such as rtsp:// URLs), so you can add a camera without typing.

3. Face ID App Lock

You can optionally lock the App with Face ID or Touch ID to keep your camera streams private. This uses Apple's on-device biometric authentication only. The App never sees, stores, or transmits your face data — iOS simply tells the App whether authentication succeeded.

4. Third-Party Data Sharing

The App shares data with exactly one third party:

• RevenueCat (revenuecat.com): Manages subscription purchases. RevenueCat receives purchase and transaction data from Apple along with a random anonymous app-user ID — never your name, email, camera details, or video.

Your video streams, snapshots, and camera credentials are never shared with anyone. We do not sell, rent, or share your data.

5. Support Emails and Diagnostics

If you contact us through the in-app feedback form, the App can optionally attach basic connection diagnostics (such as whether your router and cameras were reachable, and the App's local-network permission status) to help us troubleshoot. This happens only when you choose to send a support email, the information is visible to you in the email before you send it, and it is never collected silently in the background.

6. Data Storage and Retention

• On your device: Camera configurations, groups, and snapshots are stored locally in the App. Credentials live in the device Keychain. Deleting a camera or snapshot in the App removes it; uninstalling the App removes all of its data, including Keychain entries.
• On our servers: None. We do not operate servers that store any of your data.
• Export files: If you use the export feature, the App can create an encrypted export file on your device that you move manually. It is not uploaded anywhere by the App.

7. Data Security

Camera credentials are protected by the iOS Keychain with this-device-only accessibility. Because many IP cameras only speak unencrypted RTSP/HTTP on the local network, the App permits unencrypted connections to devices on your own LAN — this traffic never leaves your network. Communication with RevenueCat uses encrypted HTTPS.

8. Your Rights

You can:

• Delete any camera, group, or snapshot in the App at any time.
• Remove all App data, including stored credentials, by uninstalling the App.
• Deny the camera, microphone, photo-library, or local-network permissions in iOS Settings; the App will still work except for the features those permissions enable.

Depending on where you live, privacy laws such as the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA) give you rights over your personal data, including the rights to know, access, correct, and delete it. Because we do not hold your data on servers we operate, there is typically nothing for us to access or delete on request — deleting the App deletes your data. Where the App does process data in transit, or a third-party service described above collects data, you may contact us at the email below to exercise your rights, and we will respond as required by applicable law.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. In some regions, including the European Union, a higher minimum age applies to consent for data processing; the same statement applies there — we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the applicable age.

10. Data Breach Notification

In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting user data on any system we operate, we will notify affected users as required by applicable law.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
